Roof Replacement - GAF Timberline HDZ Asphalt Shingles and Thermo Tech Patio Door - Custer, WI

Removed and replaced Asphalt GAF Timberline HDZ Roof Replacement on the house & attached garage. The crew completed tear off – using the Equipter “ New Roof, No Mess Roofing Buggy” which protects the lawn, land scaping & siding. Protected lawn, landscaping & siding with the “Catch-All” siding and landscape protection nets. Re-Nailed roof with decking where needed with 8D nails. The tear off consisted of removal of 1 layer of Asphalt Shingles and Haul Away. Underlayment used was Sharkskin Ultra SA Ice & Water Shield (Premium Ice Dam Protection) and GAF Tiger Paw using Cap nails. New galvanized steel drip edge and ultimate pipe flashing that will not dry out or crack. GAF Cobra Snow Country Ridge Vent was utilized for attic ventilation .
All GAF roof installations by Oakwood Exteriors feature a 50 year Non-prorated Manufacture Warranty and a 20-year Workmanship Warranty.

Cleaned the worksite which included blow-off roof surface, cleaned rain gutters & down spouts, magnet sweep yard, landscaping, driveways, & sidewalks. Blew-off driveway & sidewalk.

Installed GAF Timberline HDZ Lifetime Shingles 4 Nail Installation. By installing 4 qualifying GAF accessories (GAF starter strips, roof deck protection, ridge cap shingles, and attic ventilation) makes Timberline HDZ shingles eligible for the wind proven limited wind warranty. Another great benefit is the Timberline HDZ Shingles features stain-guard algae protection which helps protect the beauty of the roof against blue-green algae discoloration.

Installed Thermo Tech Full replacement patio door – lifetime frame & hardware warranty – 20 year glass seal failure warranty – cardinal double strength glass . Protected floors & carpet. Removed existing patio door & haul away, prep opening & install sill flashing, plumb, level & fasten new patio door. Installed perimeter flashing, install spray foam insulation around frame perimeter, install interior jambs & trim, cleaned work site & windexed patio door. Removed & re-installed vinyl siding, install new closest match J-Channel trim.
