GAF Timberline UHD Roof Replacement, Waudena Millwork Custom Entry Door, and Gutter Installation in Custer, WI

Removed and replaced Asphalt Shingles on house and garage using GAF Timberline UHD Lifetime Shingles that consist of layerlock technology that mechanically fastens the common bond between overlapping shingle layers. The shingles are to be wind proven for infinite wind speed protection. All GAF roof installations by Oakwood Exteriors, LLC feature a 50 year non-prorated manufacturer warranty and a 20-year Workmanship Warranty.

The crew protected lawn, landscaping & siding using the Catch-All landscape & siding protection nets and removed 1 layer of shingles-hauled away. Re-nailed roof decking where needed with 8D Nails. Underlayment that was used is Sharkskin Ultra SA Ice & Water Shield (Premium Ice Dam Protection) Installed 8’ Up Eaves over front porch. GAF Tigerpaw Synthetic Shingle Underlayment Installed over the remaining Roof Surface using Cap Nails. Removed and Replaced Drip Edge Trim (Eaves & Rakes). Removed and replaced plumbing pipe flashing. Installed GAF Cobra Snow Country Ridge Vent for Attic Ventilation.

Waudena Millwork front entry door was installed. Removed interior trim and existing door and prepped the opening and installed sill flashing. Used OSI Quad insulating foam sealant around the frame perimeter. Removed and replaced doorbell that was supplied by the homeowner.

Removed existing gutters & down spouts and hauled away. New 6” “ Fascia Style” seamless gutters were installed along with Gutter RX Gutter covers. The seamless gutter system offers advantages that traditional gutter systems cannot. The biggest of which is in the name of itself – seamless. Since there are no seams, there can be no leaks! It eliminates the worry of possible eave and siding rot as welll as basement dampness. Cleaned Work Site – blew off roof surface, Cleaned rain gutters & down spouts, magnet sweep yard, landscaping, driveways, & sidewalks.
