The crew completed tear-off using the Equipter “New Roof, No Mess Roofing Buggy” which protects the lawn, landscaping & siding. Sharkskin synthetic ice and water shield provides exceptional winter weather protection. The premium self-adhering barrier was installed 4” up eaves, in valleys, and around all roof penetrations. GAF Tiger Paw synthetic underlayment covered the remaining roof surface and is a critical layer of protection between the shingles and roof deck to resist wind-driven rain. Tiger Paw is a premium-grade underlayment that avoids wrinkling and buckling for a better looking finished roof. As always, the GAF Tiger Paw underlayment was installed using cap nails – a manufacturer requirement.
