Chimney Structure Repair in Plover, WI

Project description: Removed existing Shingles & Installed Kick-out Flashings that were missing around the Chimney. Removed and Reinstalled Vinyl Siding and Reframed and Insulated the Chimney. The damaged Wall Framing and Fiberglass Batt Insulation were replaced due to being rotten. Dryfleckt Kick-out Rain Diverter Kick-Out Flashings were installed in the color White. The Kick-out Flashings help to prevent water damage and will not rust or corrode and it redirects large volume water runoff focused at the roof eave to wall intersections.

Installed Sharkskin Synthetic Ice & Water shield Underlayment and galvanized Chimney Step Flashing which provides a high-strength, moisture protective covering.

Tyvek House Wrap was utilized and we taped the seams to seal. Tyvek controls Air Flow and Water Intrusion and keeps the home dry all year round.
